The School Nutrition Foundation (SNF) offers the following scholarship opportunities to SNA members:
ANC Scholarships for First-Timers
For SNA members who have never attended an Annual National Conference, the School Nutrition Foundation is providing them with the opportunity to learn, network and help advance their careers.
Applications are now open to apply for a scholarship to ANC2022 in Orlando, Florida. Through the generous contributions from Accutemp Products and JTM Food Groups, the following scholarships are now open and accepting applications. For questions, contact firstname.lastname@example.org
AccuTemp Products First-Timers Scholarship
For the fourth year in a row, AccuTemp Products is offering twenty (20) $500 scholarships that will pay for ANC registration of members who are attending ANC for the first time. Visit AccuTemp First-Timers for guidelines and eligibility requirements.
The JTM Food Group Jack Maas, Jr. ANC Scholarship
Established in 2020, the “Jack Maas, Jr.” ANC Scholarship is named in honor of the son of JTM’s founder, Jack Thomas, Sr. The company was founded on his principles of dedication, faith, hard work, family, and commitment to excellence. Each $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to eight (8) SNA members who are attending ANC for the first time. Visit Jack Mass, Jr. First-Timers for guidelines and eligibility requirements.
The deadline for the ANC First-timers Application is April 24, 2022.

Josephine Martin National Policy Fellow:
Dr. Josephine Martin is a pioneer in the field of child nutrition. Launching her career at the Georgia Department of Education in 1950 as the assistant school lunch director, she soon became a vocal advocate for child nutrition, influencing legislation on the community, state and federal levels.
- The recipient of the Fellowship will be awarded up to $3,000 to attend and be recognized at SNA’s Legislative Action Conference, helping to defray travel expenses.
- Eligibility: Be an active SNA employee or manager section member, who has been a SNA member for at least three years, as of LAC 2023 (since no later than April 1, 2020); have never previously attended LAC; and have an interest in child nutrition policy.
The Josephine Martin National Policy Fellowship application opens on September 1, 2022 and closes November 18, 2022.
